Seed Operator

About the role

The Seed Operator is a key member of the manufacturing team responsible for producing viral seed stocks used in the Influenza Vaccine manufacturing process. Based at our Liverpool site, you will work under the guidance of the Team Leader (Seed) to ensure high‑quality output in a cGMP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all departmental SOPs and manufacturing instructions while maintaining strict documentation standards.
• Control, monitor, and deliver activities within the assigned area, completing and signing off records accurately.
• Update and review SOPs and manufacturing instructions as required.
• Promote a cGMP‑compliant culture, applying Lean, 5S, waste elimination, and energy‑efficient practices.
• Support continuous improvement, suggest solutions, and collaborate with other teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Participate in mandatory training and keep personal training records up to date.

Required profile

• Experience working in an A/B Grade clean‑room environment.
• Background in aseptic manipulations and controlled‑environment operations.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical sterile production.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electronic mechanical equipment.
