SEN Teacher – Primary & Specialist Schools (Havering)

About the role
Reeson Education is building a candidate pool for September 2026 SEN Teacher positions across Havering, including Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham. This role offers the chance to work in both primary schools and specialist provisions, delivering high‑quality, inclusive education to pupils with a range of additional needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties and other special educational needs.
- Create and implement personalised learning strategies and individual learning plans.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents and external agencies.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress regularly and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience as a SEN Teacher or teaching pupils with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Patient, adaptable and compassionate approach.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for pupils.
