About the role
A specialist SEN school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to start in September. You will deliver differentiated, engaging lessons for pupils aged 4‑19 with a range of additional needs, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning profiles.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to IEP reviews.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic, social and emotional development.
Required profile
- Qualified SEN Teacher (Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching students with Autism (ASD), SEMH, SLD, MLD or other additional needs.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and manage small class sizes.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative practice.
