SEN Tutor – 1:1 Tuition for Children in Bromley

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition for children and young people in Bromley who are out of school, awaiting specialist placements, or need extra support. The role involves up to 10‑15 flexible hours per week, working in homes, libraries or community settings.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored learning sessions for learners from primary to post‑16.
- Adapt teaching materials to meet complex needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, GDD and physical disabilities.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Learning Delivery Team.
- Collaborate with a responsible adult present during sessions to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, outcomes and any behavioural observations.
Required profile
- Experience supporting SEN learners with additional needs.
- Ability to create and follow personalised learning plans.
- Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated approaches.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
- Two recent professional child‑related references.
