About the role
Reed Education is seeking a qualified SEND Teacher for a primary school in Accrington, starting in September 2026. This is a full‑time, temporary position expected to run until the end of the academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored for a SEND class.
- Assess and record student progress, preparing them for end‑of‑year expectations.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to enhance the educational setting.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at primary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
