Senior Account Director (Shopper & Experiential Activation)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Director to lead shopper and experiential activation for leading consumer brands. Based in Maidenhead with a hybrid working model, you will combine senior client leadership with hands‑on commercial oversight to deliver high‑impact live campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted strategic partnerships with senior client stakeholders.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of experiential, shopper activation, sampling and integrated brand campaigns.
• Translate client briefs into clear strategic and operational plans.
• Collaborate with creative, production, staffing, logistics and operational teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, profitability and margin targets for each account.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
• Lead pitches, proposals and senior client presentations.
• Mentor and develop Account Directors and Campaign Managers, providing strategic and commercial guidance.
• Analyse campaign performance and recommend improvements for future activations.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience within an experiential or brand experience agency.
• Proven track record delivering campaigns for FMCG, retail, grocery, food, health & beauty or other major consumer brands.
• Deep understanding of live production, staffing, logistics and on‑site execution.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.
• Ability to build senior client relationships and grow accounts.
