Senior Accountant – City of London

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our forward‑thinking firm in London. The role involves supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and preparing to step into an Accounts Manager position with full ownership of a portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support a varied portfolio of clients, delivering a full suite of accounting services.
• Review and mentor junior staff, providing feedback and guidance.
• Build strong, long‑lasting relationships and offer proactive advice.
• Stay up to date with the latest accounting standards and regulations to ensure client compliance.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UK accounting standards.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
