Senior Accountant (Hailsham, East Sussex)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join a well‑run, highly regarded accountancy firm in Hailsham, East Sussex. You will work closely with the partners, managing a growing portfolio of clients and delivering a broad range of accounting and finance services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex statutory accounts and corporate tax returns.
• Conduct audit work and provide outsourced financial‑control services.
• Support corporate finance projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Deliver systems and accountancy advice to a diverse client base.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with some post‑qualification experience.
• Background in general practice, ideally with audit exposure.
• Strong technical and communication abilities.
• Ambitious, organised, self‑motivated and commercially aware.
• Resident within commuting distance of Hailsham.
