Senior Accountant – Truro, South West England

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our well‑established practice in Truro. You will work on year‑end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and have the chance to develop your career within a supportive, team‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts for a diverse client base.
• Handle personal and corporate tax compliance.
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff.
• Develop client relationships and take on increasing contract responsibilities.
• Participate in project planning and advisory work with senior partners.

Required profile

• Qualified or partially qualified (AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in accounts and tax within an accountancy practice.
• Experience serving sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Ready to work full‑time or part‑time with flexible, hybrid arrangements.
