Senior Analyst - Investment Consulting

About the role

As a Senior Analyst in Investment Consulting you will join Gallagher’s specialist team delivering investment advice to large institutional clients, primarily UK defined‑benefit pension schemes. You will work closely with senior consultants and specialist teams, gaining exposure to trustees, in‑house investment committees and a broad range of asset‑owner portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day investment workstreams for a portfolio of institutional clients.
• Prepare investment advice papers in collaboration with lead consultants, sustainable investment, ALM, manager research and transition teams.
• Present findings and recommendations to client investment committees and in‑house teams.
• Monitor client portfolios, market developments and manager performance, providing timely updates.
• Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the consulting practice.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in institutional investment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in finance, economics or a related field.
