Senior Architectural Technician – Manchester

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading RIBA‑chartered practice that works across retail, residential, leisure, office and industrial sectors. The role is based in Manchester and is focused on delivering high‑quality architectural technical support from RIBA Stage 4 onward.

Key responsibilities

• Produce project information from RIBA stages 4 and beyond.
• Manage information flow across the design team and external consultants.
• Lead design team and site meetings to ensure successful project delivery.
• Issue working drawing packs throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in architectural technology.
• Significant post‑qualification experience as a technician within a UK practice.
• Experience managing large‑scale projects across multiple sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and job‑running processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit (desirable).
• Technical detailing.
• Understanding of UK building regulations.
