Senior Associate, Private Client Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our International Private Client tax team in London. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality personal tax compliance and providing tax advice to a diverse portfolio of high‑net‑worth and non‑domiciled clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full tax compliance cycle for your client portfolio, ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and offshore structures.
• Draft written correspondence for clients and liaise with HM Revenue & Customs on their behalf.
• Communicate directly with clients, family offices and other stakeholders, and attend client meetings.
• Collaborate with managers, senior managers, directors and partners to deliver tax advice and planning.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, budgets, billing and debt collection.

Required profile

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with high motivation and commitment.
• Proven experience running the compliance cycle for your own client portfolio.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
• Experience providing ad‑hoc tax advice (inheritance tax, capital gains tax, non‑dom planning) is desirable.
• Background in professional services and experience with international tax considerations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Educated to at least A‑level; graduate degree and CTA qualification preferred.
