Senior Associate, Third Party Risk Management

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Associate to join its Global TPRM Assessment Team. You will help execute third-party risk assessments, gather data, score initial risk and track remediation, supporting the identification, documentation and escalation of risks across the vendor base.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out and support initial and ongoing risk assessments for third-party vendors, including data validation, completeness checks and detailed documentation in the TPRM system
• Use foundational knowledge of control risks in information security, data privacy and business continuity management to review and triage vendor documentation
• Run routine sanctions, PEP and adverse media screenings with specialised tools and escalate potential matches to Senior Associates or Managers
• Help review documentation, extract control gaps and draft sections of assessment reports
• Document control deficiencies and escalate emerging issues to Senior Associates or the Team Lead
• Monitor and track third-party remediation, working with suppliers and internal Business Owners to meet closure deadlines
• Stay informed of global regulations and best practice such as the EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, DORA and FCA
• Suggest improvements to the TPRM workflow

Required profile

• 3+ years in risk management, audit, compliance or similar roles, preferably in a regulated financial services environment
• Strong writing skills for findings summaries, status updates and risk assessment reports
• Foundational understanding of third-party risk management principles and frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexible hours to fit the UK time zone

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with GRC tools, third-party risk assessment platforms or similar compliance software
• Proficient use of TPRM assessment platforms, GRC tools and sanctions screening tools
