Senior Business Finance Manager – FP&A

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Business Finance Manager to join our FP&A function in London. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will drive the Board’s strategic objectives, support M&A, debt and equity raising, and champion cost efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a 5‑year business plan model with scenario, debt financing and M&A functionality.
• Lead annual strategic planning, detailed bottom‑up budgeting and half‑yearly forecasting.
• Deliver weekly/monthly financial information and insight to the Executive Committee, Board and investors.
• Partner with department heads to manage cost bases, improve commercial performance and maintain rolling forecasts.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards covering unit economics, pricing analysis and profitability.
• Own the company‑wide workforce planning model and headcount forecasts.
• Maintain a “deal‑ready” data room for smooth due‑diligence at any time.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems.

Required skills

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong technical accounting and financial modelling capability.
• Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, CoWork) applied to finance workflows.
• Advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, index‑match/lookups, data analysis.
• PowerPoint for presenting financial insights.
• Experience using MS Office suite for data analytics.
