Senior Buyer / Buyer – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

We are seeking a confident and commercially‑driven Buyer or Senior Buyer to join our growing procurement team in Croydon. The role offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced environment, build strong supplier relationships and lead strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate agreements and terms with suppliers to secure value for money, optimise credit terms and align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing and Logistics teams to manage incoming stock efficiently.
• Work closely with the sales team to obtain up‑to‑date market selling prices and ensure optimal sales pricing on stock.
• Provide information on incoming stock to operations and commercial teams to support pre‑selling activities.
• Identify replenishment opportunities for best‑selling product lines.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of buying experience, preferably within the grey‑market sector.
• Proven experience selling physical products.
• Outspoken, confident communicator with strong commercial acumen.

Required skills

• Negotiation and supplier management.
• Knowledge of grey‑market procurement (desirable).

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £65,000 per year.
