Senior Client Accountant – £55-60k + Bonus & Hybrid Working

About the role

This senior client accountant position supports a portfolio of super‑prime residential assets in Central London. You will work within a fast‑paced team, delivering accurate service‑charge accounts, budgets and financial reporting for high‑value properties.

Key responsibilities

• Review service charge accounts, budgets and monthly reporting packs prepared by Service Charge Accountants.
• Ensure financial accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards and lease requirements.
• Analyse budget versus actual, cash flow adequacy and service charge funding.
• Produce and review monthly and quarterly service charge reports, budget packs and annual budgets.
• Prepare year‑end accounts, audit packs and manage complex audit processes.
• Own the client budget approval process and communicate assumptions clearly.
• Perform detailed budget variance analysis and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Maintain accurate updates in the property management system, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Identify and reconcile non‑service‑charge monies such as ground rent, reserves and energy funds.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses for clients or senior stakeholders, and visit sites as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a client accounting role within residential block management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property management systems such as Yardi, MRI or Qube.
