Senior Commercial Manager

About the role

The Senior Commercial Manager will work closely with the Head of FT Live Forums to bring partnership propositions to market and drive the next phase of growth for FT Live. This international, sales‑driven role focuses on acquiring new partners, developing commercial opportunities and supporting the launch of new Forums while safeguarding the FT brand.

Key responsibilities

• Drive lead generation in partnership with the marketing team, researching and engaging prospective partners.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high‑quality commercial opportunities.
• Lead outreach to senior decision‑makers such as CMOs and marketing directors, establishing trusted relationships.
• Develop long‑term partnership propositions and take them to market.
• Identify new revenue streams and devise strategies to capture them.
• Represent FT Live Forums at events and conferences to expand the commercial network.
• Maintain rigorous sales management, pipeline reporting and CRM discipline.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in media, with a proven record of building long‑term partnerships.
• Consistent achievement of sales targets and ability to develop a high‑quality pipeline.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and comfortable turning opportunities into action.
