Senior Facilities Manager – Part‑time (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a senior facilities and property manager to work part‑time (2 days per week) on a hybrid basis, supporting medical facilities across Welwyn, Bedford, Luton, Oxford and Bristol. The role is initially for a minimum of six months with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of site‑based Facilities Managers and act as the senior liaison for stakeholders and contractors.
• Oversee hard and soft facilities‑management contracts, health & safety compliance and building regulations.
• Manage property projects, lease administration and tenant relations across the portfolio.
• Coordinate site visits as required while primarily working from home; travel expenses are reimbursed.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in facilities or property management, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and building compliance.
• Ability to manage multi‑site operations and small teams.
• Approaching retirement and seeking a reduced‑hours role is welcomed.

Required skills

• IOSH or NEBOSH certification (essential).
• IWFM or RICS qualification (preferred).
