Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are supporting a prestigious charity in London and are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the commercial arm that generates the majority of the organisation’s revenue. The role will act as a proxy member of the executive team, providing commercial insight and influencing strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Conduct business reporting and cost accounting.
• Continually review business operations and recommend alternative approaches.
• Perform financial modelling and analysis of all business initiatives.
• Improve reporting, analysis, and use of KPIs within the business.
• Provide commercial analytical financial support for negotiations and business case creation.
• Engage with the executive team to deliver financial insights for informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACMA, ACA, ACCA, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in commercial financial analysis, KPIs and ROI.
• Proven ability to work with a subsidiary and within a shared services function.
• Broad business understanding with practical application.
• Ability to influence decisions and drive improvements.
• Competent user of financial and technology systems, including MS Word/Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and capacity to manage significant workloads and changing priorities.
• Experience engaging effectively at executive level and being a team player.
