Senior Forensic Delay Analyst / Claims Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Forensic Delay Analyst to join a high‑stakes construction dispute project on an urgent, inside‑IR35 contract. The successful candidate will work autonomously, analysing complex project histories and delivering clear, expert advice to legal and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct forensic delay analyses using recognised industry methodologies, reviewing programmes, progress records and contemporaneous documentation.
• Prepare, assess and quantify entitlement to Extension of Time (EOT) claims across various contract forms.
• Produce detailed technical reports for adjudication, arbitration and litigation, including expert witness statements.
• Audit live project programmes, perform risk assessments and advise on dispute avoidance strategies.
• Engage directly with clients, contractors, subcontractors, solicitors and barristers to present findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (ideally 8 + years) experience in construction planning, project controls, delay analysis or claims consultancy on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work independently at senior level without supervision.
• Strong understanding of contract law related to delay, disruption and acceleration.

Required skills

• Advanced, hands‑on experience with Asta Powerproject.
