Senior Front-End/Magento Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Front‑End Developer to lead complex Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce projects. Working in a remote‑first UK environment, you will create engaging ecommerce experiences, own front‑end architecture decisions and deliver high‑performing, accessible digital solutions for recognised brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver front‑end solutions across Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce platforms.
• Own the front‑end architecture, build reusable components and ensure responsive, performant interfaces.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, QA specialists and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable code.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and mentor junior developers.
• Maintain code quality through pull‑requests, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Front‑End Developer in ecommerce environments.
• Strong background with Magento Open Source and/or Adobe Commerce.
• Excellent HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
• Experience with component‑based frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, mobile‑first development and Core Web Vitals optimisation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
