Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Audit & Risk Recruitment is partnering with a diversified global group to hire a Senior Internal Auditor for its Group Audit function. Based in London, you will join a team that operates across Europe, the US, Africa and South‑East Asia, with up to 30% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full audit lifecycle – planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow‑up on recommendations.
• Conduct financial and operational audits in line with the approved audit methodology.
• Produce high‑quality audit findings that mitigate risk and add value to the control environment.
• Contribute to audit committee papers and presentations.
• Participate in special projects outside the regular audit plan as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
• Demonstrable experience in both financial and operational internal audits.
• Background in a complex in‑house environment or a risk advisory team within a Top 10/Big 4 firm.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model, attending the London office three days a week.
