Senior Internal IT Auditor – Birmingham

About the role

Menzies is seeking a Senior IT Auditor (Internal) for its Birmingham office. You will lead a variety of operational and technology audits, primarily for not‑for‑profit public sector organisations, assessing ICT risk management and internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end delivery of Internal IT Audit services, from scoping to reporting.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members on daily audit activities.
• Audit technology‑related risks such as cyber security, data privacy, cloud computing, and IT transformation projects.
• Conduct audits covering Change Management, Information Security, Disaster Recovery, IT Service Management and Application Controls.
• Review and analyse work of the audit team, ensuring high‑quality outputs.
• Assist the management team with business development and operational initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT audit experience in practice or industry.
• Prepared to study for the CISA qualification (ISACA).
• Strong communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with public or not‑for‑profit sector audits is a plus.
