About the role
Thomson Reuters' Practical Law division is looking for a Senior Specialist Legal Editor focused on finance law. Based in France, you will create and maintain high‑quality, English‑language legal content that helps practitioners work smarter and supports AI‑driven solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Research, write, and regularly update practical legal content on finance topics for online publication.
- Review and edit contributions from colleagues and external experts to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Monitor legal and market developments in French finance law to keep content current.
- Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and technology teams to embed legal expertise into Thomson Reuters AI tools and internal editorial platforms.
- Engage with customers, advisory boards, and industry events to gather feedback and identify emerging needs.
- Contribute to the growth of Practical Law France and broader Thomson Reuters legal offerings.
Required profile
- French‑qualified lawyer (Avocat) with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in finance law.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with proven ability to produce clear, client‑focused content.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to staying abreast of legal developments.
