Senior Manager, Data Center Commissioning

About the role

Radiant is building purpose‑made AI infrastructure and needs a senior leader to drive data‑center commissioning across its live projects. You will travel to sites, lead hands‑on commissioning, and create the handover playbook that moves projects from build to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities on‑site personally, moving between projects as they reach energisation.
• Build Radiant’s commissioning methodology and readiness checklist from scratch.
• Own the handover package into Operations and walk the receiving team through it.
• Take full ownership of the period between build completion and Operations go‑live, not just the formal handover point.
• Build out a pooled commissioning team as project count grows, while remaining hands‑on at site level yourself.

Required profile

• Hands‑on commissioning experience on data‑centre or mission‑critical infrastructure, through to energisation.
• Willingness to travel between live sites at short notice; this is not a desk‑based role.
• Attitude matters more than years of experience – you spot problems on the floor and build methodology from experience.
• Ability to inspire change and constructively shake up processes.

Required skills

• Experience with both air‑cooled and liquid‑cooled (DLC) commissioning.
• Exposure to integrated systems testing (IST) methodology.
• Experience commissioning projects in both Europe and the US.
