Senior Manager – Digital Regulation Assurance (Audit & Assurance)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Manager to join Deloitte’s Algorithm and AI Assurance team in London. You will lead and contribute to high‑impact assurance projects across a range of clients and emerging digital technologies, helping organisations meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team delivering assurance over large technology platforms’ compliance with Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, EU AI Act and related regulations.
• Identify and assess risks, develop testing strategies, and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct in‑depth control reviews and testing using Deloitte’s methodologies and tools.
• Develop innovative assurance approaches to address emerging digital‑regulation risks.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and identify new business opportunities.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and networking events.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure project deliverables meet Deloitte’s quality and risk standards.

Required profile

• Strong interest in digital regulatory frameworks such as the Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, Online Safety Act and EU AI Act.
• Significant experience in internal or external audit/assurance, including risk assessment, control testing and delivering clear conclusions.
• Proven ability to lead complex audit engagements and multidisciplinary teams from planning through to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing project plans, resources, budgets and risk mitigation.
• Track record of mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
