Senior Neurology Consultant – Doha, Qatar

About the role

The Senior Consultant in Neurology is the most senior physician in the department, reporting only to the Department Chair or Section Head. You will lead a team of consultants and junior doctors, ensuring high‑quality patient care and overseeing all clinical decisions made under your supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and admission of neurology cases.
• Supervise consultants and junior doctors, taking responsibility for all clinical decisions made by the team.
• Collaborate with the department chair on service development, budgeting, staffing, and funding matters.
• Lead teaching and training initiatives for junior doctors and medical students.
• Drive academic and research activities within the neurology department.

Required profile

• Western Board certification (CCT, AMB, or Facharzt) in Neurology.
• Valid medical license/registration in the home country and eligibility for licensing in Qatar.
• 2–5 years of experience in Neurology, with expertise in headache, movement disorder, or epilepsy specialties.
