Senior Operator / Production Lead – Days Shift

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Operator ready to step into a hands‑on leadership role on the day shift at our fast‑growing manufacturing site in Petersfield. You will lead a team, ensure smooth production flow and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support and motivate the team to meet production targets.
• Keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
• Coach operators and develop their skills.
• Identify and solve problems to reduce downtime.
• Drive standards for quality, safety and performance.
• Support training, return‑to‑work processes and team development.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean/5S activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting, guiding or informally leading colleagues on shift.
• Ready to take on a leadership role and work hands‑on.
• Current role may be Production Operator, Senior Operator, Line/Cell Leader or Warehouse/Logistics Team Leader.
