Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to own the end‑to‑end payroll and benefits function for our UK and Ireland operations. You will manage payroll for around 400 employees, including expatriate arrangements, and drive continuous improvement of our benefits offering.

Key responsibilities

• Process full UK & Ireland payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy for regular staff, expatriates and payrolled benefits.
• Maintain compliance with HMRC, pensions, auto‑enrolment, statutory reporting, P11Ds and related audits.
• Administer and enhance the company’s benefits programmes, including pension schemes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for payroll and benefits, partnering with HR, Finance and business stakeholders.
• Lead process‑improvement and automation projects, payroll governance, and support annual salary reviews and budgeting.
• Produce international mobility reports and contribute to wider payroll and benefits projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing UK payroll and benefits, preferably in a lead capacity.
• Experience with Irish payroll and expatriate payrolls is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions and benefits administration.
• Self‑starter with excellent stakeholder management, analytical ability and a stable career history.
• CIPP qualification is preferred.

• Competitive salary £60,000–£65,000 per year.
