Senior Pension Administrator – Defined Benefit Specialist

About the role

Our client, a well‑established UK firm providing pension, employee benefits and actuarial services, is expanding its Defined Benefit Pensions team. They are seeking a Senior Pension Administrator who can work remotely or on a hybrid basis, delivering expert advice and administration for defined benefit schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on defined benefit pension scheme design and operation.
• Manage end‑to‑end pension administration processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret scheme rules and calculate member benefits.
• Handle member enquiries and provide clear, professional guidance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet regulatory and scheme requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in benefits administration for defined benefit pension schemes.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Background in consultancy, in‑house, provider or trustee environments.
• Ability to interpret complex pension rules, perform accurate calculations and manage documentation.
