Senior Product Designer (AI‑first Finance)

About the role

We’re looking for a senior Product Designer (~5 years of experience) to join Sequence and help shape the future of AI‑powered finance automation. As one of our first designers, you’ll work closely with product, engineering, and founders to design intuitive, AI‑native workflows for billing, invoicing, and receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Design AI‑first product experiences across billing, invoicing, collections, and finance‑agent workflows.
• Partner with product managers and engineers from discovery through shipping to bring new concepts to life.
• Explore how agentic AI workflows should behave, deciding what automates, when input is needed, and how reasoning is explained.
• Move fluidly between broad concepts and tactical deliverables, from sketching new finance copilot experiences to refining critical interactions.
• Prototype rapidly and test ideas with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Contribute to design reviews and help build a strong design culture at Sequence.

Required profile

• Experience shipping B2B products, ideally in finance or workflow‑heavy domains.
• Comfortable in an early‑stage environment and eager to shape both product and process.
• Interest in AI tools such as Cursor, Midjourney, Figma Make, Claude Artifacts, and curiosity about designing with and for AI.
• Embraces ambiguity and enjoys exploring entirely new interaction patterns.
• Prioritises speed and impact over lengthy analysis and research.
