Senior Product Manager, Software

About the role

CoMind is developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology for diagnosing and treating brain disorders. It is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own how its device software behaves, turning the product vision into features the software team can build. The role starts on future releases of CoMind One and helps shape CoVision as it moves towards delivery.

Team members work at least 4 days per week from the Kings Cross offices, plus a flexible work-from-home day.

Key responsibilities

• Define how features work, including edge cases and failure modes in a clinical setting
• Package features for build: what it does, why it matters, what it looks like and the decision logic
• Prototype flows and interactions with AI tools so the team sees the idea before building
• Sit with the software team and make calls on feature questions
• Act as the link between commercial and software teams, testing needs with customers before they reach the backlog
• Shape the product roadmap with the Product Lead
• Own the software backlog in Jira: intake, triage and grooming
• Write acceptance criteria and partner with the Project Manager on sprint sequencing and timing
• Keep decisions and documentation in Confluence

Required profile

• Demonstrable product management experience on software running on physical hardware
• Understanding of regulated hardware: long development cycles and infrequent releases
• Ability to write precise requirements and debate features with engineers
• Heavy use of AI tools in daily work
• Nice to have: medical device experience, ISO 13485 or IEC 62304 exposure, embedded or real-time software experience, software engineering background
