Senior Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading cost and project management consultancy in London. The role involves overseeing the delivery of construction projects across residential, hotel, commercial and logistics sectors, ensuring high‑quality service and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders and design teams.
• Lead the delivery of project management services from inception to close‑out.
• Conduct background research, data collection and due‑diligence for project planning.
• Prepare project briefs, reports, timelines and procurement strategies.
• Manage project budgets, fee drawdowns and non‑construction costs.
• Oversee the procurement process, including RFP preparation, tender evaluation and reporting.
• Produce monthly progress reports and keep stakeholders informed.
• Coordinate project hand‑overs, defect resolution and close‑out procedures.
• Identify new business opportunities and promote the firm’s market profile.

Required profile

• Relevant third‑level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or Surveying.
• 5‑7 years’ experience as a Project Manager, preferably within a construction consultancy.
• Experience on residential, hotel, commercial or logistics projects is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and reporting abilities.
• Proven ability to prepare and analyse construction programmes.
• Experience in contract administration is a plus.
