Senior Project Manager

About the role

QinetiQ is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead specialist construction and estates projects across the LTPA and QinetiQ Freehold Estate. Based in Rosyth, you will manage the full project lifecycle from planning through execution on a variety of building, civil engineering and technical repair projects.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the project, the project team and its delivery.
• Integrate the team within the business and embed a strong health‑and‑safety culture.
• Develop junior project‑management competence.
• Define and maintain project aims, priorities and scope.
• Agree and manage the project budget, delivering within cost and reporting progress.
• Manage project documentation, including bids, proposals and third‑party records.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of Planning Application and GPDO processes.
• Detailed knowledge of Building Regulations and Building Control.
• Detailed knowledge of the RIBA process.
• Working knowledge of JSP standards.
• Extensive knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations and experience acting as client on construction projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts.
