Senior Reinsurance Claims Adjuster

About the role

The client is a highly regarded reinsurer operating in the London market. As a Senior Reinsurance Claims Adjuster (Casualty) you will manage a portfolio of complex, high‑value treaty reinsurance casualty claims across global accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end claim management from notification to settlement, ensuring accurate reserving and coverage analysis.
• Work closely with cedants, brokers, underwriters and other market stakeholders to provide clear communication on claim developments.
• Support strategic decision‑making through detailed reporting, portfolio analysis and continuous process improvement.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact within the claims team.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling reinsurance casualty treaty claims within the London market.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance structures, claims coverage and reserving practices.
• Ability to manage complex, international claim portfolios and engage effectively with cedants and brokers.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and excellent stakeholder communication.
