Senior Site Manager – £80m New Build Project

About the role

We are partnering with a leading regional main contractor to appoint a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of an £80 million new‑build scheme in Worcestershire. The role offers a high‑visibility leadership position on a landmark project, reporting directly to the Project Manager and working closely with the commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and ensure programme, quality and H&S standards are met.
• Drive the construction schedule, monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers to maintain seamless workflow.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, commercial team and client representatives to align on deliverables.
• Ensure successful handover from build phase through to project completion.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering large‑scale new‑build projects (£30 m+) for reputable main contractors.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with a hands‑on management style.
• Stable career history demonstrating consistent project success.
• Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card.
• First Aid qualification.
