Senior Software Engineer - Enablement Team

About the role

FanDuel is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Enablement team within Core Products and Experiences (CPE). You will help build the libraries and product features that teams across FanDuel Technology rely on, making it easier for them to ship great experiences to fans. It is a highly visible role with real impact across the organisation, working on core client platforms such as Web, iOS or Android.

Key responsibilities

• Build libraries and features across core client platforms (Web, iOS or Android)
• Contribute to design, scoping and prioritisation discussions
• Lead smaller projects of work within the team
• Coach and nurture other team members
• Take part in the interview process and help onboard and train Software Engineers

Required profile

• Experience with Web (JavaScript/TypeScript), iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin); native engineers are welcome alongside web engineers
• Understanding of Agile software development
• A focus on quality and testing in code, and the ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards
• Ability to evaluate multiple technical directions and weigh their trade-offs
• Empathetic communicator who proposes pragmatic solutions, slices scope into iterative deliveries and learns from and educates others
