Senior Systems Developer

About the role

Christian Aid is seeking a senior, hands‑on Systems Developer to lead the design and delivery of solutions on its Microsoft Dynamics platform. You will act as a technical authority within the ICT team, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and maintainable outcomes that support the organisation’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver complex solutions on Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform.
• Own end‑to‑end development work, influencing technical direction and standards.
• Maintain high standards of quality, security, and code maintainability.
• Collaborate with ICT, CRM, internal stakeholders and external suppliers to solve technical challenges.
• Champion best practices, introduce new technologies, and provide strategic advice on platform capabilities and integrations.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Dynamics certification).
• Strong expertise in customisation, extensions, data modelling, API integrations and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with modern software engineering practices such as source control, automated testing, code review and CI/CD.
• Ability to work independently in resource‑constrained environments and translate user needs into effective solutions.
