Senior Teaching Recruitment Consultant – Education Sector

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Teaching Recruitment Consultant to join our education recruitment team in Newcastle upon Tyne. In this full‑time position you will build lasting relationships with schools and education professionals, matching talent to vacancies across supply and contract roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing schools, visiting sites to understand their staffing needs.
• Source, interview and assess teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring a strong fit with school culture.
• Manage advertising campaigns on job boards, social media and the company website.
• Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment solutions for both supply and contract placements.
• Maintain compliance with recruitment regulations and internal processes.

Required profile

• Proven track record in recruitment or sales, preferably within education.
• Experience handling high‑volume workloads and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Resilient, ambitious and motivated by targets.
