About the role

Mattermost is looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager to lead the successful deployment and ongoing operation of its secure collaboration platform for enterprise and public‑sector customers across the United Kingdom and French‑speaking Europe. The role combines deep technical expertise with relationship management to ensure customers achieve reliable, secure, and scalable implementations.

Key responsibilities

Lead onboarding, deployment, and optimisation of Mattermost for strategic accounts.
Design and validate scalable architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on‑premise environments.
Guide integration with identity providers (SSO, SAML, OAuth, LDAP), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
Provide proactive technical guidance to improve reliability, security, and performance.
Act as the primary technical advisor, collaborating with product, engineering, and support teams to resolve challenges.
Capture customer feedback to influence product roadmap and create deployment documentation, templates, and automation assets.
Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, and implementation planning sessions for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

5+ years experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or a similar customer‑facing technical role.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple regions and languages.
Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts.
