Senior Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Senior Technical Coordinator to join our South Midlands Technical team based in Northampton. The role links design and on‑site construction, acting as the main point of contact for technical issues within the region and liaising with the central Technical Team to ensure timely, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely within the region to understand technical needs and act as a key link back to the Central Technical Team, ensuring workloads are prioritised and met.
• Help determine and manage consultant and sub‑contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team.
• Ensure all approvals are obtained and information is issued promptly to allow a swift start on site.
• Make decisions on an area and regional level on all technical matters.

Required profile

• Experience as a Technical Coordinator with a housebuilder, consultancy or related field.
• All‑round knowledge of technical issues, including a good understanding of Building Regulations and NHBC standards.
• Qualified to HND/HNC or degree level and/or hold corporate membership of a recognised professional institute.
• Ability to input and help determine and manage consultant and sub‑contractor proposals alongside the Technical team.
