Senior/Lead Android Engineer – Mobile Health Platform

About the role

As an Android Engineer at Flo, you will shape the mobile experience for millions of users worldwide, delivering meaningful work in women’s health. The app leverages AI and machine learning to provide accurate cycle predictions and personalized health insights across more than 100 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features using modern frameworks, libraries and in‑house components, contributing to a durable shared codebase.
• Deliver polished, intuitive user experiences that meet high design and usability standards.
• Maintain and improve the continuous delivery pipeline to ensure fast, reliable, and safe releases.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on Android development with a proven record of shipping and maintaining large‑scale production apps.
• Experience building complex, globally‑used mobile applications with performant, polished UIs.
• Strong proficiency in Java and solid object‑oriented design principles.
• Deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including platform fragmentation, UI patterns, and device diversity.
• Familiarity with Google technologies, Play Store submission processes, and Google development guidelines.
• Practical experience working in Agile teams throughout the full mobile product lifecycle.
