SEO Lead (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Lead to join a reputable digital marketing agency in Leeds. You will own the SEO product, drive organic growth for a diverse client portfolio and work closely with sales to win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies across technical, on‑page and content dimensions.
• Manage performance tracking, reporting and continuous optimisation for multiple client accounts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to pitch and secure new SEO projects.
• Maintain and improve the agency’s SEO service offering, ensuring it remains competitive and results‑driven.
• Provide internal support and guidance on SEO best practices.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proven track record of improving rankings, organic traffic and conversions.
• Strong understanding of local and national SEO, on‑page optimisation and technical fundamentals.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client‑management skills.
