About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder to join a well‑established engineering company in Dartford. You will work in a fully equipped workshop on bespoke architectural projects, turning engineering drawings into high‑quality metal components.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate sheet‑metal components from CAD and engineering drawings.
- MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper (1‑10 mm thickness).
- Operate fabrication machinery such as press brakes.
- Finish and form components while ensuring product quality.
- Work Monday‑Thursday 7:00‑15:30 and Friday 7:00‑14:30.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sheet‑metal fabrication.
- Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD/engineering drawings.
- Experience working with a range of metals (steel, stainless, aluminium, brass, copper).
