Shift Manager – Pub Operations

About the role

As a Shift Manager you will support the Pub Manager and take full responsibility for the smooth operation of the pub during your shift. You will lead a diverse team, ensure compliance with standards and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all areas of the pub, including front‑of‑house, bar and kitchen.
• Manage cash handling, administration and daily reporting.
• Motivate, support and organise the team, delegating tasks and solving problems.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, product quality, service, maintenance and atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with company operating standards and relevant legislation.
• Work a flexible rota covering various shifts throughout the week.
