Site Lead – Roofing (Senior Roofer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Roofer to act as Site Lead for commercial roofing projects in Winsford. The role combines hands‑on roofing work with site management and client liaison responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality flat roofing systems (felt, GRP, EPDM) and, where required, slate and tile roofing.
• Lead work, flashing, and repairs on commercial sites.
• Own site activity from planning to completion, ensuring projects meet time and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary client contact on‑site, building professional relationships.
• Coordinate with contractors, site managers, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior roofers.
• Maintain strict health and safety compliance.
• Assist with material planning and workflow management.

Required profile

• Strong commercial roofing background.
• Proven experience leading jobs as a Site Lead or Senior Roofer.
• Professional client‑facing communication skills.
• Gold CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
