Site Manager – Commercial Cut & Carve Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a high‑profile commercial office refurbishment in Plymouth. The project involves extensive structural modifications, heavy service integration and a high‑spec finish. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure safe, on‑time and quality execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, health and safety, and logistics.
• Coordinate subcontractors and oversee heavy temporary works, structural alterations, demolition and core removals.
• Monitor progress against programme, budget and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Tier 1 contractor health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Report daily to the Project Manager and resolve on‑site issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience on structural refurbishment and cut‑and‑carve projects.
• Background with Tier 1/2 main contractors on large commercial sites.
• Immediate availability or very short notice period.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Black or Gold Card.
• First Aid certification.
