Site Manager – Planned Retrofit Works (Social Housing)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead internal and external retrofit refurbishment projects for social housing across the Ealing area. Reporting to the client, you will oversee the delivery of external cladding and other refurbishment works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control the overall delivery of retrofit contracts, maintaining financial control.
• Collaborate with clients, client representatives and design teams to ensure high‑quality service.
• Manage cost control, subcontractor performance and procurement of materials.
• Plan and programme short, medium and long‑term work streams using MS Project.
• Conduct site inspections, investigations and produce reports with improvement recommendations.
• Lead and motivate a site team of Assistant Site Managers and Customer Service Officers.
• Chair subcontractor progress meetings and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering external refurbishment projects, including cladding, for social housing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sites through effective leadership and on‑site presence.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in cost control and budgeting.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle.
