Site Quality Manager

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Site Quality Manager to lead quality activities on a field project located in Peterhead. The role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring all quality work during site execution to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review contractual, local, and project-specific quality requirements.
• Assess contractor quality plans and align them with project quality plans.
• Set up and train site personnel on the Quality Management System and completion system.
• Execute and monitor quality plans, master test plans, and inspection/test documentation.
• Ensure inspection and testing during civil, mechanical, and electrical erection are performed, documented, and validated.
• Organize acceptance testing and approvals by customers, third parties, or authorities.
• Deploy and maintain the completion system, deviation, NCR, and CCRP tools, and train users.
• Manage calibration of testing equipment and maintain calibration certificates.
• Provide quality‑related KPIs and status reports to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site quality management for construction or energy projects.
• Ability to work on‑site in Peterhead and relocate as required.
• Willingness to work without visa sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills with contractors and internal teams.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
• Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Inspection Test Reports (ITR).
• Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) handling.
• Calibration of testing and measurement equipment.
• Completion system and deviation tracking.
