Site Quality Manager (Project Site)

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Site Quality Manager to lead quality activities on a new project site in Peterhead. The role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring all quality work during site execution to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review contractual, local, and project-specific quality requirements.
• Assess contractor quality plans and align them with project quality plans.
• Set up and train site personnel on the Quality Management System and completion system.
• Execute and monitor quality plans, master test plans, and inspection/test documentation.
• Ensure implementation of quality control processes, including ITPs, ITRs, and erection documentation.
• Organize acceptance testing and approvals by customers, third parties, and authorities.
• Maintain calibration records for all testing equipment and manage NCR, CCRP, and deviation systems.
• Provide quality‑related KPIs and status reports to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site‑based quality management within construction or energy projects.
• Ability to work onsite, report to the Site Manager, and collaborate with contractors and partners.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, code, and standard compliance.
• Willingness to relocate to the project site and work without visa sponsorship.
